| This image of NGC 663 was created by Chris Callaway using data collected on October 3rd, October 5th and October 7th 2026. Chris used a Takahashi 106 and an Altair Astro 26C camera mounted on a Paramount MyT mount. A total of 40 x 3 minute subs were taken. Mike Lancaster captured this image of Caldwell 10 on the 6th August 2024. The image comprises 64 x 15 second exposures taken using an Altair Hypercam 26C at 300 gain (plus darks, flats and flat darks), through an Orion Optics UK AG12 Astrograph mounted on an EQ8 mount. A 0.95x Wynne Corrector and Astronomik CLS-CCD filter were also employed. Due to the short exposures no guiding was employed. Images were acquired using SharpCap, and the processing was entirely performed in PixInsight. Image Credit: Mike Lancaster. |
