Derby and District Astronomical Society
DDAS Observing Session
Saturday 10th May 2025
| On Saturday, 10th May 2025 the DDAS held one of its regular monthly observing sessions at the Society's Flamsteed Observatory. This was well attended by both members and visitors alike, taking advantage of the clear skies that evening. DDAS Secretary Dave Selfe comments: "Besides the observatory 10" Meade there were four other scopes out in the field, and it really made it a great night, despite the very bright Moon. We observed Jupiter, a few double stars, the Ring Nebula, and a couple of globular clusters using the Meade. For me the view of M13 was the highlight of the night. Thanks to everyone who turned up to make it a wonderful evening". |
