DDAS Observing Session
10th October 2026

Jim Sarsgard took this picture of the night sky from the dome of the Society's Flamsteed Observatory during our observing session on the 10th October 2026. He used the camera in his Google Pixel 10A phone. From top to bottom the view encompasses the stars of Perseus down through Taurus. The star Mirfak is close to the top edge of the picture. Aldebaran and the Hyades are rising above the tree in the lower part of the scene, with the Pleiades above them to the right of centre.  Image Credit: Jim Sarsgard.
