During the summer of 1989 the walls of the Flamsteed Observatory were put in place by a work party of DDAS members including Mike & Matthew Dumelow, John Hickling, John Holmes, Andrew Johnson, Mike Lancaster, Steve Parkins, Anthony Southwell and Kevin Woodward.
