John Hill captured this cropped image of M20, the Trifid Nebula, on the 12th June 2025. Exposure comprised 44 x 60 second subs using a Skywatcher Esprit 100ED refractor, a 294MC Pro camera (at -10C, gain 120 with darks, flats and bias taken) and an Optolong L-Pro filter. The mount was a Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro with guiding and image capture using an ASIair Pro. The image was processed in Pixinsight (drizzle 1) and GIMP.   Image Credit: John Hill.
