This image of the NGC 1501 was captured by Peter Branson on March 18th 2025 and produced from 120 x 60 second images taken with a new ZWO ASI585MC colour camera attached to a Celestron C9.25 Schmitt-Cassegrain telescope, mounted on a SkyWatcher NEQ6 mount. The set of images was stacked in Nebulosity and imported into PixInsight for further processing and sharpening. Peter says: "Planetary nebulae are beautiful deep sky objects and they each have their own characteristics - this one looks like a ball of wool!"  Image Credit: Peter Branson.
