March 2000 was a good time for sunspots as these images by Graham Ensor show. Graham projected the Sun's disk using his 80 year old Watson & Sons 'Century' 3-inch brass refractor. The resulting image was captured with a Sony Mavica digital camera and processed in Photoshop to show detail and structure. Image Credit: Graham Ensor. |
